My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very clean and quiet, which was fantastic, but the noise from the street directly outside the window could be bothersome. Overall, the hotel was situated behind the stairs, so the rooms towards the back were very quiet with good mattresses.

The service at the hotel was top-notch. The staff members were very accommodating and great - kind and helpful whenever needed. They were even quick to act when we had a group of feral cats serenading us at 1 a.m. one morning; however, there was an oversight with the shampoo not being refilled.

The location of the hotel was surprisingly quiet at night and just south of the Stanford campus, which was very convenient for our family gathering. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the building structure and design were old, the hotel's proximity to Stanford Stadium and the in-room folder were positive points.

The dining experience at the hotel was okay; it provided the basic offerings like waffles, eggs, sausages, yogurt, muffins, and juices. However, it could be improved since it only had disposable tableware for breakfast - I hope they change that for environmental reasons. On a side note, they did have cookies available, which was a nice touch.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were great with a fridge and microwave, making it very convenient for taking the bus downtown. However, booking late in the afternoon meant I found clean rooms with blood stains on the sheets, which was a bit off-putting. The room being in the back was also a bit strange.
